Tournament will be played in sports hall in Bratislava.

To be considered Junior, player has to be born in 1990 or later.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT

Every player / team choses a home table for whole event (system from ITSF WCH). 2 sets are played on team's home tables (one set on each). Final set is played on both home tables (teams change table after 2 goals). If the score is 4:4, teams change table after every goal until there is a 2 goal difference (max 6). If both teams chose the same home table, whole match is played on one table.

Main events (Open doubles and singles) are played as best of 5 in winners bracket, each set to 5 with 2 goal difference (max. 6) in final set. Losers bracket is played as best of 3 as well as every other event in both brackets. According to number of players a playing system of additional competiotions can be changed to single K.O.

PLAYERS CATEGORIES

Foreign players are ranked as Pro, unless stated otherwise. According to the ITSF rankings, first 100 players are ranked Master. If the player is ranked in Super CZ or Intl' Garlando ranking, he / she will be ranked 1 category above his / her current ranking. Players from eastern Europe (HU, PL, BLG, RU..) can get lower position in ranking system.

Women ranked Top 20 in ITSF rankings are ranked Master, Top 50 Pro and Top 100 Semi-pro. This is a ranking system for women events. In open events all women are ranked -1 according to their previous women ranking.

PRIZES

Trophy will be awarded to every player up to the 3rd place in every event.
A special prize (New Adrenaline Roberto Sport table) will be awarded to winners of open doubles competition.
At least 200 players from all over the world are expected to attend the tournament.
Expected prize money is about 100.000,- Sk.

BONUS SYSTEM

There is a special bonus for Amateur players (Rookie and Semi pro) in open events. As well as for best Amateur women players. Only players ranked Semi-pro or lower are considered as Semi-pro, also for women or mixed doubles.

The Garlando tables are provided by Czech distributor TAB, which offers the tournament tables for a special price.

TORNADO

If you are interested in Tornado, you can ask Tornado Tische from Austria for one. You can also find spare parts and some special equipment on their website.

TRAVEL INFORMATION

There is an easy access to Bratislava by all the types of transportation with Schwechatt (Vienna) and M.R. Stefanik (Bratislava) airports only few kilometers from the place of the tournament. The City is also very easily reachable by car, while there are plenty of highways leading directly into the city from all the directions and no more borders when entering the country.

BY CAR

There is an exit at the highway Praque – Bratislava (D2) leasing directly to the tournament place in Mlynska dolina (part of Bratislava).

TRAIN AND BUSES

Slovak railway or bus station. Use taxi (16777) or city buses to reach the tournament place.

FLIGHTS

You can use our low cost airport Bratislava, or close Vienna International airport.

SHIPS
